Your Employer or Regulatory agency will have this information. Fingerprint Mendez let you know respectfully that it is the applicant’s responsibility to verify the correct ORI number with employer or agency to ensure results are sent to the correct location. So Fingerprint Mendez cannot be responsible for selecting the correct one for you. If you do not provide an ORI number or if you provide an incorrect ORI number to Fingerprint Mendez member, you will not receive your fingerprint results. It is extremely important to use the correct ORI when having your fingerprints scanned. You must bring this with you.

Some few agencies require the OCA number. It is the Originating Agency Case Number, which tells the governing agency who (company) is requesting the screening. For example, DCF requires it to identify the provider requesting the background check. Without both the ORI and OCA numbers, FDLE cannot process the request and DCF will not know where to send the results.
